A Message from Scott Fregonese:

EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 2021, FREGONESE ASSOCIATES IS LONGER IN BUSINESS. I recently accepted an offer to join 3J Consulting as a Senior Project Manager.  As you can imagine, I did not make this decision lightly. While you will start to see a different logo and company name in my communication, you can expect the same level of service you have always received. In addition, Julia Reisemann, GIS Manager, has also joined the 3J team in a role similar to the one she held for years at Fregonese Associates. Our experience complements 3J’s existing services and we can now offer our clients an even deeper range of land use planning expertise.

Thank you all for your past business and support. I hope that Julia, Myself and the rest of the 3J team can continue to work with you in the future.

3J Consulting (3J) provides clients throughout Oregon with exceptional land use planning, public involvement, and civil engineering services based on reliable attention to detail and strong project management. Since our founding in 2009, we have provided a full spectrum of land use planning services to cities and counties. 3J’s Community Planning Team is grounded in Oregon’s Statewide Planning program and is well-versed in its core elements and unique intricacies that have shaped our corner of the country for almost 50 years. We understand how planning, public involvement and engineering work must be delivered to equally support the goals of local agencies and the character of the communities they serve.

John Fregonese’s Legacy

Since their founding in 1997, Fregonese Associates left their mark and positive influence on hundreds of cities and communities. The mark of founder John Fregonese’s leadership was a plan that was successfully implemented at the city or regional scale and transitions into projects at the community or neighborhood scale. John is known for his work in Portland, where he was the primary author of Metro 2040.

John passed away in 2018 but his legacy and influence will continue to impact the communities he worked with for years to come.
