Fregonese Associates, in partnership with Matt Taecker of Catalyst (urban design and planning), completed a comprehensive update of the general plan for the City of Watsonville, California. The team completed a public visioning process that provided the framework for updating the city's general plan and path of future growth. Working with local stakeholders, interested citizens, and collaborating with addtional partners, FA tackled a broad spectrum of the city's issues, including economic, transportation, infrastructure assessments and an historic element update. Obtaining updated data and collaborating with innovative experts in a variety of fields, FA was able to compile a plan for Watsonville's future growth that reflected the goals, values, and principles of local area residents and stakeholders.
