Scott Fregonese

At Fregonese Associates, Scott provides redevelopment and GIS analysis, project and staff management, and publication expertise. His work ranges from planning at the local and regional levels to high-caliber document production and graphic design.

Scott regularly helps run and facilitate community workshops and coordinates community planning and design charrettes. Scott is known for his strength in understanding and analyzing public input from these workshops. He strives to employ and improve analysis methods to most accurately convey the public's voice.

For the City of Dallas, Scott successfully managed key elements of the process to create the City's first Comprehensive Plan, helping the City implement its long-term vision. This project included amendments and revisions to most of Dallas' land use ordinances.

Recently, Scott also managed downtown plans in Arlington, Talent, and Mountlake Terrace. Each of these projects included urban design, code development, redevelopment analysis and public involvement components.

Scott's interests include developing new ways to present ideas visually by integrating GIS with graphic design software. His high-level software and graphic design skills allow him to present spatial data in a refined, easy-to-understand manner.

Scott Fregonese received a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a focus on Urban Planning from Oregon State University.
