Julia Reisemann
GIS Analyst
As GIS specialist, Julia is responsible for the collection, analysis and manipulation of GIS data. Quality geographic information is cornerstone to FA's approach to planning and community building. The numerous data sets she compiles include: the built environment, vacant land layers, land use and parking inventories, identification of environmentally sensitive lands, and future master street plans.
With involvement in the majority of FA's projects, Julia has worked on diverse projects on many scales. Her recent project include the development of a growth capacity analysis for the Southern California Association of Governments Compass Blueprint program, regional planning efforts in the Superstition Vistas Area in Arizona , Dallas, and the Grand Traverse Region and specific area plans for downtown El Centro, CA and Mountlake Terrace, WA.
Before joining Fregonese Associates, Julia worked at Metro, the Portland area's regional government, on a historical land use project for the region. Julia spent her formative years in Western Europe where she was instilled with a particular interest in urban life and regional interaction.
Julia has a Bachelor of Education from the University of Karlsruhe and a Master of Science in Geography from Portland State University.
